How do I check my own Banglalink number?

Banglalink uses a different code: dial *511#. The same code appears in three independent published sources, so there is little room for confusion about it.

There is a general lesson in that: codes differ by operator, and assuming one network’s code works on another is a mistake. *2# works on Grameenphone, Robi and Airtel but not here, because each operator has arranged its own menus.

One older source mentions an alternative code, but it does not appear in all of them — so only the code every source agrees on is given here. Less information that is certain beats more that is not.

⚠️ Codes can change. If it does not work, get the current one from the official app or the customer-care helpline. Both are free to use and neither requires you to give any personal detail beyond confirming the number you are calling from, which is a useful contrast with anyone phoning you and asking for a code.
